Artefakt is a broken and beaten font, it doesn't have a place to fit. Punctured and rhythmic in its damage, this experimental typeface embraces an outcast identity, deliberately excluding itself from being the SAFE or preferred choice for any project. It's an intentional study in not belonging - being in the wrong time, at the wrong place.
Artefakt supports both Latin and Bulgarian Cyrillic alphabets, giving its destroyed texture reach across multilingual designs. Its corrupted shapes suit long paragraph text as well as short 2-3 word statements.
This experimental broken aesthetic fits into Y2K-aesthetic interfaces, SCP-style mystery and thriller visuals, video game title screens, and any project chasing an unsettled or otherwise out of place style.
Artefakt is completely free to use, licensed under the SIL Open Font License (OFL), available as a .TTF for both Windows and Mac.
The Artefakt font is part of Needmorefonts, which is a project developed by WORSHIP.
